Beauty isn't a look. It's a frequency.
When a woman is fully present — unhidden, unperformed, simply herself — she is breathtaking. My intention is to create 'space' for that presence to emerge, and then to display it as the fine art that you are.
THIS is what I mean by fine art portraiture.
I've had a camera in my hands since I was five years old. And honestly? That hasn't changed a bit.
What has changed is how deeply I understand what I'm doing when I pick it up. Because for me, photography has never really been about the camera. It's about people. It's about what lies within a woman that the world is often too busy to witness.
Thirty years of photography, design, and fine art taught me how to create beautiful imagery. I also came into this world with something that thirty years couldn't teach — the ability to read a woman's truth before she says a word. When you work with me, I'm not just capturing an image of you — I'm truly seeing you.
Most women walk in convinced the camera will find their flaws. What it finds instead is their fire. Because truth, when it's held with care, is the most beautiful thing a camera can capture.

My journey began at the age of 5. I vividly remember taking my (Olympus) film camera and shooting everything I could; my family members, friends and yes…even my stuffed animals. They were the only ones patient enough to sit with me while I practiced focusing, aperature settings, ISO, etc... As the years passed, I continued to hone in on my photography skills, while also experimenting with various mediums such as; printmaking, painting & sculpture. . Eventually, I acquired my bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and went on to work in the design & marketing field as a graphic designer. This is ultimately where I learned to approach photography with a designer’s eye.
After almost 30 years into my career, I decided to step into portrait photography full-time. Combining my skills and experiences from the past has created the clean, classic, modern images that have brought you here today.
Fine art, fashion, and design strongly influence how I create. In fact, they are each a huge part of who I am. Growing up, I dreamt of being a model or fashion designer. When I was a pre-teen, I'd walk into high fashion boutique stores and try on haute couture gowns — studying the drapery of the beautiful fabrics and admiring how it complimented the feminine figure. I'd spend countless hours at the local library, in my hometown of Scottsdale, flipping through fashion and photography books. Feverishly absorbing all the information I could. The body language, the lighting, the angles… I found my happy place!. To this day, I'm in love with simplicity of finely crafted clothing and the art of fashion.
And I use this passion and designer’s eye to provide you with artistic direction and magazine-worthy editorial style images.
You may think you have to be or look perfect for your images to turn out beautifully, but you'll soon discover that you're already perfect — just the way you are. Rather than posing you or photographing you to look like someone you're not, I guide and encourage you to express your most authentic, best self. As a result, you'll feel comfortable, accepted, and free to be yourself.
And because I personally demonstrate each pose, you'll know exactly what to do. So let go, take a deep breath, and have fun as I capture the powerful and beautiful woman before me.
